Company Background
Momentum Dance is an award winning professional touring dance company now in it’s eleventh year. Momentum Dance create highly theatrical, original, dynamic performances influenced by an eclectic fusion of styles including contemporary, hip-hop and streetdance. Momentum also encompasses three youth companies and extensive education provision. Momentum Youth Dance Company now in its 11th year (current UK streetdance Champions - CAT 2, age 14-17), Momentum Allstars Company (age 13-16), Momentum Junior Allstars Company (age6-12) and Momentum Theatre Arts Company (age 4-19) all feature young, talented dancers who receive training, work with professional choreographers and gain regular performance opportunities locally, nationally and internationally

Momentum joined the line up at this years UK Street Dance Championships held at the indigo 02 arena after successfully competing at the open competition in London, with a 2 minute version of Ben Davies new theatrical Street Dance choreography “Virus” recently created on the company. A larger cast of 14 dancers made up from Momentum Junior Allstars and Momentum Youth Dance Company won the category to become the new 14-17 UK Streetdance Champions.
For the forth year running Momentum are invited to perform at the dance event of the year – Move It! at Olympia, London. The company will perform ‘Tribute’ and ‘Virus’ alongside other National and International dance companies.
